This is one of my favourite side dishes to have especially with some grilled chicken or any other type of stake. Easy to prepare using the same grill for cooking your meat it can be done prior to it and will impress all your friends.
- 6 medium-size red paprika peppers
- 250 ml of water
- apple vinegar
Depending on the needs you can also use your oven for achieving the same outcome.
1Start by grilling the peppers till the skins get a bit darkened and they get a bit soft. When done remove from the grill and place in a pot while sprinkling a bit of salt on top of them than covering with a lid.
2Remove the skin from the peppers and place in a different bowl over which you will need to pour the brine we prepare separately.
3In 250 ml of water dissolve a tablespoon of honey and add a tablespoon of apple vinegar and a bit of salt, depending on the taste. Pour over the cleaned peppers and let them soak for around 10 min in the fridge after which they are ready to serve.
